| It's still under wraps, but we will have sound previews of the new collaboration between Les Paul bassist, Paul Nowinski, and solo pianist, Paul Cantelon. Earlier in the year Nowinski got in touch with Paul after listening to the Great Big Island release Point No Point. "One of, if not, the best solo piano recordings I've ever heard," Nowinksi says with his typical shrug, that suggests no argument. There was a first session at Nowinski's family house in Brooklyn, and then some further jam sessions in the city. Eventually, the recordings will cover songs from Point No Point, as well as odd fragment covers from the pop music song book. We can't wait...you'll be the first to know when we have something to hear. | |
